Story

I don't even run for the bus, so doing a 10k run is going to be interesting. But I'm doing this to raise money for a good cause, the Dyspraxia Foundation.

Dyspraxia is surprisingly common in both children and Adults. It is a hidden condition that is poorly understood and is something that I suffer with myself. Further details of Dyspraxia can be found here: http://dyspraxiafoundation.org.uk/dyspraxia-adults/

Individuals can present with a variety of the symptoms in the link above and face day to day difficulties as a result. Unfortunately, awareness of Dyspraxia is limited despite it being recognised as a learning difficulty and lifelong condition. This can present a lot of challenges for individuals from an early stage in life.

On 9th July 2017 I will be running 10k to raise money for the Dyspraxia foundation (having never done anything like this before), an organisation that provides help, support and guidance for people with Dyspraxia and other associated health professionals that assist those with Dyspraxia.

Between now and July I will be out running to make sure I'm ready to do this. I appreciate your support.
