We raise funds to support the Neonatal Unit to improve care for sick & premature babies

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year my chosen charity to support is Little Roos Neonatal fund, associated with St Peters Hospital in Surrey.

The Little Roo Neonatal Fund is the local charity for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey, Surrey.

My son Henry was born nine weeks prematurely and spent six weeks at this fantastic unit in Surrey. The help and support we received as young, new parents was second to none and I’ve always wanted to give something back.

Therefore I am  finally going to get rid of the topknot, and in fact all of my hair for this wonderful charity. That’s 3.5 years of growth and In a few weeks time I will be shaving my entire head.

I will also be donating the hair that’s removed to another fantastic charity that helps children with hair loss - The Little Princess Trust.

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young adults up to the age of 24, who have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.

Any pennies you can spare will be gratefully received

Fantastic news to share!!! My company (The Highfield Company) will match pound for pound any money raised!

About the charity

Previously called the Early Births Fund, the fund was set up in 2003 with the aim of raising £250,000 to provide additional intensive care cots for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This goal was achieved in 2 short years. The fund has continued on to support babies, families & staff on the NICU.
