The story so far. Clearly it’s a shock (although I’ve been preparing myself for the worse over the past 3-4 weeks), but I've just been diagnosed with Bowel Cancer.

I’m looking at the positive side, in that the CT scan didn’t show anything else, anywhere else. So thats a result!  The most important thing is that it's going to get sorted really quickly.

I’ll be having an operation early November and be off work for between 4-6 weeks. So during December, the beard will be embellished, enhanced, sculpted, coloured, decorated, etc.
