Story

Today is my first day doing my Poetry Marathon for Snow Leopards! It is the 18th March and as you probably know Mothers Day so this is my poem for today! ...

18th March, 1st day.

Mothers Day!

blessed am I to have such a mother,

who means the world to me,

her smile lights up the world,

and love in her eyes you see,

her hope's and ideas always are right,

and if you have never been told,

my lovable mother, my beatiful mother,

has a heart made of pure gold,

even if you are the most difficult,

my mother is always there,

she has beatiful thoughts and it will show,

in her  face, her eyes, and her hair,

so just for once you pay her back,

on this one and only day,

comfort her and love her,

and always you will say,

i will pay mother back for all those times she is kind to me, on this day the 18th March the day Mothers Day!

19th March, 2nd day.

Poetry.

Poetry is like a close, loving friend,

who's words wrap around me like a fond embrace,

holding me close,

not ever letting go,

I swim in a pool of alliteration,

and I sunbathe in the adjectives,

I sing the perfect punctuation,

and I dive into the rythm,

the poem rocks me to and fro,

in a perfect beat,

I slowly shut my eyes,

and dream,

a dream,

of poetry,

20th March, 3rd day.

The Medicine for Grief.

We may think that grief is a punishment,

Days of misery,

sadness,

despair,

but if you choose to believe,

that there’s a way to cure heartbreak,

pain,

loss,

there always is,

simply forget,

enjoy your life,

happily,

joyfully,

perfectly,

live as a carefree,

rosy-cheeked,

cheerful,

person and that is the only medicine you’ll need.

21st March, 4th day.

The Green-Cloaked Girl.

The road was bare, The night silent,

The moon shining bright,

The only thing that was visible,

Was the flickering candlelight,

Under the cloak, the hooded cloak,

The cloak of dark, velvet green,

A girl, a beauty, was under there,

who was terribly Determind and keen,

Upon the horse, The dazzling stallion,

She rode, proud and tall,

No saddle, no reins, galloping fast,

Never did she fall,

Over hills, steep hills, over hedges,

Tall hedges, on and on and on,

All the while the pale- faced moon,

Smiled, and shined and shone,

Until, at last, did she reach the place,

The place shook her wide awake,

A place, a beautiful, sparkling place,

The Green-Cloaked Girl’s own lake,

22nd March, 5th day.
