Perhaps like me you know someone who is suffering from cancer or will have lost loved ones to the disease. Hopefully, you might also know others who have received treatment and recovered from cancer.

The Beatson Cancer Charity helps make life a little easier. Let's just highlight one simple example. Rather than sitting around the bedside patients can take their visitors to the coffee shop, library and cinema to converse in a more relaxed manner. This area is provided by the Beatson Cancer Charity and is only there due to the public support. We want to help raise funds to extend the support that the charity provides.

Personally I, Brian Watson, hope to raise £1,200 equal to £1 for each mile I will ride in this 4 day event. Other participants will also be raising funds and overall we hope the event can raise at least £10,000 for the Beatson Cancer Charity.
