Thanks for taking the time to look at my fundraising page. 

I have secured a (very last minute!) place for The London Marathon on April 23rd. 

I'm delighted to be running for Women for Refugee Women - a small charity which supports women who are seeking refuge from persecution, to rebuild their lives and communicate their own needs and stories. They work in three main ways: to support and empower women seeking asylum; to communicate with wide audiences by telling the stories of refugee women through media, events and arts projects; and to inform policy makers and politicians about how to build a fairer asylum process. 

At university, I worked with a group of refugees to understand the barriers they faced finding employment in the UK.I feel privileged to be raising money for a charity trying to change the asylum process and will be running in honour of people who shared their experiences so authentically with me.
