We all know someone who has had their life taken or deeply altered by cancer. For me, it was my mum who lost her battle with NH lymphoma aged 44 (I was 15), and a dearly loved friend who passed at age 36.

Not having these people with me as I've become an adult has left me with plenty of 'what if's and tears, but also plenty of precious memories. Both of these women handled their battles with such dignity. 

For me, hopefully a fight in the ring will aid the fight for more days, more survivors and more hope.
