Having previously worked within Mental Health Primary Care it pulls at my heart strings to see the challenges faced to accommodate for the amount of people suffering from mild anxiety and stress to the more complex of diagnosis; therefore I wanted my charity of choice to be within this area.

In particular I have chosen Simmons House, Children and Adolescents Mental Health Service (CAMHs) to raise funds for. Whilst the NHS cover the cost of treatment plans, it is the smaller things (not necessarily covered) that have a big impact on the well-being of a child I.e. a sensory garden and equipment.

Creating a sensory garden is an exciting and worthwhile project that provides limitless opportunities to teach and exercise horticultural healing therapy techniques. By giving whatever you can, I kindly ask you to support me in supporting the children of Simmons House to receive a gift towards building a sensory garden that will entice the senses and enhance stimulation.
