For many African children in rural areas, getting to school means a long walk in searing heat, arriving at school late, exhausted and in no condition to learn. Jole Rider is a charity based in Tetbury, who, with their Bikes4Africa scheme are aiming to deliver more bicycles to rural African schools. Every bike delivered means another child can make the journey to education.
To help raise money I am taking part in two cycling challenges this summer - Velothon Berlin (120 km) on 18th June and Velothon Wales (110km) on 9th July. Your support will help to make a difference to children's education in rural Africa.
