Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am walking in honour of three men who meant so much to so many people, but let mental health issues become so much of a burden they chose to take their own lives,  one of those men was my paternal father.

I am also not afraid or ashamed to admit that after my daughter was born in 2008, I suffered the onset of post natal depression, luckily I had the support I needed  and strength of self to get better and embrace motherhood.

We all have down days, days where we think we are rubbish and days where we could just go back to bed and hide. Imagine this feeling day after day and not being able to talk to someone about it.  And in short not getting the support you need to understand that you're not a worthless failure. Mental health problems don't discriminate, they can affect anyone at anytime. The mind is a delicate, fragile thing, which needs looking after.
