Hi all, thank you for getting this far!

As you know, my nan sadly lost her two year battle with lung cancer on 7th April 2016. She fought right up until the end, but eventually it was more than even a stubborn Scouse nan could beat. 

Over the past two years, she had interactions with loads of different medical professionals and other agencies, but the one that had the most impact was Lyndale Cancer Support Centre. This is a small charity based in Huyton who provide help, support, laughter and lots of tea to people in the area living with cancer. It is run entirely on volunteers and has no government funding at all, running on donations from kind hearted people like you! They did more for her than any doctor or nurse, and they deserve more money than they receive. 

This is where you and I come in! I don't run. Not for anything. So I am lacing up my trainers and running the equivalent of a marathon in May in the hope some lovely people will donate to this amazing charity! Any donations are welcome and sharing is always helpful :)

I will be updating regularly so you can point and laugh at how bad I am at running (let's not pretend I'll enjoy it), so encouragement in monetary form would be ideal!
