Story

Thank you for visiting my page.   I had heard about Mercy Ship and was so inspired with the stories of life saving, life changing surgeries that happened on-board this amazing floating hospital. Mercy Ships also partners with local communities to improve health care, offering training and advice, materials and hands-on assistance.  What an amazing way of sharing God's love in a practical way.

I first volunteered in 2015 for 6 months in Madagascar and found the work rewarding, so went again for 18 month to Benin and Cameroon.  I am now heading again for 2 months to Senegal.

All volunteers raise their own crew fees, transport to the ship, various other expenses and do not get paid while on-board so that free operations can change lives, so all donations are gratefully received.
