This October we're taking on a brand new city centre 10k run, raising money for Cavendish Cancer Care. We are all touched by cancer in our lives, and this charity has helped my (Michael's) Mom get through her breast cancer ordeal. 
 
Cavendish Cancer Care is a Sheffield charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer in South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. They believe no one should face cancer alone, so they provide emotional and physical support through counselling and complementary therapies.
Their services are provided free of charge and they rely on the donations from supporters and help from volunteers to continue their work. Put simply, as they receive just enough NHS funding to keep their doors open for two weeks each year they wouldn’t be here without people like us fundraising, and you guys donating.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. If you're a UK taxpayer you can also select Gift Aid and the government waive the tax on your donation, giving the charity an extra 25% donation!
