As many of you know, two years ago we lost my dad who fought so hard to beat cancer.  In 2016, Katharine house helped not only my dad but my family get through one of the hardest times of our lives.  Without the support of the amazing staff here at Katharine house it would’ve been even harder.  

In February I am climbing Africa’s highest free standing mountain and one of the 7 Highest peaks of the world...kilimanjaro.  I will be taking on a 7 day ascent up to the summit (yes, this means I have to camp up the mountain) 5,895 meters above sea level.  Those of you who know me, know that I struggle walking to the shops but rest assured I have been training hard for this and am so determined to get to the top in memory of my Dad, Bob Allen, and to raise as much money as possible for the amazing charity Katharine house.
