We are taking part in Tough Mudder 5K. The reason for this activity is to try and raise as much money as possible to fund a very important project.

Riding for The Disabled Abingdon 

The Group has been running for 42 years and has 87 riders of all ages, 157 volunteers and 12 horses/ponies.

They urgently need to raise £65,000 to build a full size, 60 x 20 metre, indoor arena and we are determined (with your help) to achieve this goal!. Many of our riders love to compete in dressage and at present do not have use of a full size arena. For any rider and even more so if you are disabled, it is essential to practice in the correct size arena. The Group would then be able to cut their very long waiting list dramatically and so give more disabled people the opportunity to have fun, enjoy the company of others and at the same time receive the most amazing physiotherapy.

We already have planning permission for this project which means funding is our final hurdle!
