I am a 44 year old Mum, wife and nurse. In 2013 I myself had two strokes, which put my life temporarily on hold. Now 4years later I now feel that I have my life back. The daily struggles have been hard and seem as if they are never ending at times but I haven't given up.  

I have now decided to participate in the 5 k run, to prove not only to myself that I can do it, but also to show others that there is a life after a stroke. Thank you for all of your support.
