We are raising £3m to build a 999 cenotaph to honour our NHS and 999 heroes

Story

NESM is a campaign to build Britain’s first national memorial dedicated to all emergency services. They are raising at least £3 million to build a ‘999 cenotaph’. It will honour the TWO MILLION people who work in the emergency services today, and serve as a national symbol of remembrance for the more than 7,000 emergency services personnel and volunteers tragically lost their lives in the line of duty.

Key figures from across the political divide, including the current and all former Prime Ministers, all former Deputy Prime Ministers, the current and former Home Secretaries and the leaders of all political parties are backing the memorial. NESM are very honoured to have the support of the amazing organisations below, and the backing of the Her Majesty’s UK, Scottish and Welsh Governments.
