It's not easy to face a life threatening disease,
to fight everyday, when you’re on your knees.
Too many people have this cross to bear,
too many loved ones but this illness doesn’t care.
Both our families have suffered the pain,
When Leukaemia strikes with heartless disdain.
How can we help, what can we do?
Families feeling helpless, it hurts them too.
So we can’t carry the burden, we can’t share the pain,
But we can walk a long way, probably in pouring rain!
It won’t be easy that much is true,
But with lots of donations we will make it through.
We want to raise lots of pennies to help this great cause,
