This will be Helen and my 2nd joint marathon to raise crucial funds for children who suffer or will one day suffer from cancer. This year we are running for Children with Cancer UK - childrenwithcancer.org.uk with the aim of raising £2,000.

It's a very sensitive, rarely talked about and rather dark subject, and as many of you know Alex & I had to let our sweet 2 year old daughter, Lizzy go to the illness 6 years ago.

Along with our family and many friends, we continue to campaign in Lizzy's memory, and in the honour and support of so many other children who face the threat of a short life and of their families who live with the heartache.

So many of you have been unimaginably supportive in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of these kids and their families, and your continued support means so very much to us.

Although Helen and I have been through that infamous 26.2 mile journey and all the training that goes with it 7 times between us, BY GOD it's murder in your mid 40's!!!! 😂 So we are having to dig extra extra deep this year 😖
