Story
This April, Morning Matt from Eagle Radio's The Peter Gordon Breakfast Show will be taking part in his first ever London Marathon!
Unsure of which charity to run for, Matt asked Eagle Radio listeners to nominate local good causes to run in aid of.
Hundreds of local charities were nominated, and this was whittled down to a shortlist of five. Then, a week of voting took place.
Nearly 9,500 votes were received in the space of seven days, with The Brain Tumour Charity in Farnborough being announced as the winning charity!
About The Brain Tumour Charity….
The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. It funds pioneering research to increase survival, raises awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours and provides support for everyone affected.
