Marathon of parkruns done

Half marathon swim run = done (and second place!)

Now... Ragnar Run from Folkestone to brighton! 

Marathon of Parkrun’s complete... now for the next adventure. A half marathon of swimming and running and swimming and running. 

Myself and pal Craig set ourselves a ridiculous challenge at the school pick up one afternoon in early January. We wondered if we could run the Sussex parkruns in one day. Then, we realised we could add them up correctly to run a marathon in one day, driving between each parkrun. We're going to start with Peacehaven junior parkrun in the morning of 17th March (running a bit longer to make up the distance) then drive to worthing and work our way back through each parkrun course on it's way to Peacehaven. Approximate timings are below:

• 9am - Peacehaven Junior Parkrun (2.195km)
• 10am Worthing Parkrun (5km)
• 11am Lancing Parkrun (5km)
• 12pm Hove promenade Parkrun (5km)
• 1pm Hove Park (5km)
• 2pm Preston Park (5km)
• 3pm Bevendean (5km)
• 4pm East Brighton (5km)
• 5pm Peacehaven Parkrun (5km)

Total distance = Marathon!

I am doing this for my pals a MyAFK because there are people in this world that need more help than myself. They need funding for specialist equipment to help them lead their life to the full!

If we get enough donations... we may entertaining doing it in fancy dress... may...
