Story
In June 2018, Steph, Ryan and Paul will complete the Birmingham Triathlon in aid of Rainbows Hospice for Children & Young People. This challenging event will involve the 3 of us completing an Olympic distance relay whereby Steph will swim 1500m open water, Ryan will cycle 40km and Paul will bring the team home by running 10km. Although this is a great incentive for all of us to do something we love, most importantly we want to raise as much money as we possibly can for the wonderful Rainbows Children's Hospice.
Sadly, some children simply don’t live long enough. Rainbows is a place where these life-limited children and their families find care, support and love. The incredible team of people at the hospice help relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the very end. After our recent visit to the Hospice we were blown away by the warmth, positivity and happiness that each and every staff member creates in making special memories for the children, young people and their families.
We will be fundraising in various ways throughout the course of the next 5 months. Please follow our progress either on our Just Giving page or through our Twitter @Triathlon2018. Thank you so much for your support!
