Story

October 31st 2019 and I attended the Rocky Horror Halloween fancy dress ball in aid of the Sussex Beacon - which is a fantastic one of a kind care facility in the UK.

Nail varnish was an integral part of the fancy dress on the night - but also afterwards a very visible and personally “character building” experience to wear something in public that is so culturally ingrained in our societies subconscious sexism ie “men don’t wear nail varnish”.  I’m finding the nails are a great conversation starter, and surprisingly Enjoyable experience - which I had not anticipated - ever!

I’ve taken on the Nail Varnish Challenge through the whole of November (hence “Nailvember”), and to use any attention gained to fundraise for the Sussex Beacon.

As part of this I’ll be posting as many fundraising requests along with plenty of photos of my fantastic nails working hard to draw attention to themselves.

The goal celebrity endorsement for this fundraiser would be Eddie Izzard - so if anyone knows him - please ask him for me !

(And if anyone is interested- these are gel coating, blackberry blush with a red glitter top coat)
