As part of University Centre Shrewsbury sports and societies, and in connection with Pengwern Boat Club and Shrewsbury Students’ Union, we are looking to row the length of the River Severn to support a great local cause.

Severn Hospice is a wonderful charity based in Shrewsbury, and the surrounding areas, and provides the best care and a better life for people living with an incurable illness, as well as supporting those close to them as such a difficult time.

Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you.For every £1 you donate, they will spend 88p directly on care - and use the remaining 12p to make another £1.Last year, all those individual donations - large or small - added up to £8.98 million for care.Thank you - you're amazing!
