Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It's been a couple of years since I donned the running shoes and completed the Edinburgh Marathon in aid of Steve's Charity so I'm  chomping at the bit to take part my in my next challenge this year Le-Jog to help raise money for the Steve Prescott Foundation.

The event consists of 3 teams of approximately 10 people cycling from Lands-End to John O'Groats (hopefully within 9 days), including on days 4, 5 & 7 climbing Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis respectively in the evenings...As you do:-)

A few of the facts: -

We aim to cycle around 1000 miles.  Walk up & down the 3 highest peaks in Great Britain covering 26 miles (marathon distance) walking 9,800ft of accent and decent and slog out around 46,000 ft of elevation with all the up hill cycling, not to mention spending over 60 hours in the saddle. Ouch!!!

I kinldy ask if you woud be willing to sponsor me and help raise my target of £1,000.00

Should you wish, you can visit the Steve Prescott Website to read more about the event, foundation and two charities close to his heart (Christies Cancer Hospital & Rugby League Benevolent Fund)

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
