Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In May 2019 I'll be running the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of my close friend Dave Seath who tragically died whilst running in the 2016 London Marathon in support of Help for Heroes.

Following David's death, The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund was set up in May 2016 by David's brother Gary. The fund provides vital financial support to wounded, injured and sick personnel & veterans in partnership with Help For Heroes.

The primary focus of the fund is to provide support to those who have experienced considerable physical and psychological trauma in service of their country. The work of the fund is changing and rebuilding lives, with grants being used by beneficiaries for PTSD therapy, to purchase specialist rehabilitation equipment and to enable respite breaks.

Please donate what you can and help me reach my fundraising target of £250. Your support is greatly appreciated!
