On the 28th September 2019, I hope to swim 5K at Cheltenham's Sandford Park Lido.  I really enjoy swimming but this will be furthest I have ever swum. I am doing this event to raise funds for Kate's Home Nursing & Motor Neurone Disease Association. In Memory of a fellow Nurse, Marjory Daldry who died earlier this year. 

Kate's Home Nursing provides palliative care for Patient's in their own homes. This enables patients with life-limiting diseases such as cancer, motor neurone disease and other progressive illness to be cared for and die at home. With support from a Kate's Home Nurse, patients receive physical and psycho-social care, families feel supported in their role as carers, supporting their loved one to die at home.
