Story

On the 30th March 2016 our angel Noah was born sleeping at 18.44pm weighing 4lbs 9oz.

I had had a really happy and healthy pregnancy with a very playful little boy in my tummy, until one evening something didn't feel right. We went to the hospital as I had experienced reduced movement this is when we were told the devastating news that there was no heartbeat. I was 32 weeks pregnant. Baby Noah was just perfect, we got to hold him, dress him and kiss him and we will cherish forever all of the memories we made that evening.

We want to do the Snowdon walk with some of our closest family and friends in memory of baby Noah and to raise awareness. Sadly there was nothing that could be done for Noah, he had got himself in a tangle, the cord was wrapped around his neck and his arm which had cut off the oxygen supply, but we want pregnant ladies not be afraid to go to the hospital if they are concerned, have the confidence to seek advice and ask questions. We need to break the silence on stillbirths, today it is still a taboo subject but everyday families are going through this heartache. Let's all keep remembering and talking about all of those angel babies and give women the confidence to follow their instincts and ask for advice without thinking that they are being a nuisance.

Although we have empty arms we still have two hearts full of love for our son, for each other and for all of our family and friends that have helped us through this difficult time, our heartache will never fade but we will live each day we are alive for Noah and love, laugh and drink tea (drinking tea helps every situation :-)).

"Through the thick fog of grief is the piercing light of love from those around us"
