I like doing things that make a difference to people....and things that make me feel alive. Which I fully intend to do for as long as I can. 

The last time I did a jump was in Byron Bay Australia a good 10 years ago so its probably about time i did it again, this August over the very beautiful Suffolk coast. 

The jump organisers are working with Farleigh Hospice. I have a great friend who works for them as a nurse caring for a huge number of patients and their families. Her resilience, strength, intuition and sense of humour are some of the many things I love about her. It is what her patients love about her too as I saw first hand on a day I spent observing her at work. So this find raising is as much for all the people who do amazing and emotionally challenging work. And as a celebration of friendship when you need it most.

About Farleigh - At any one time Farleigh Hospice take care of the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of around 1,400 people, free of charge. It costs £16k every day to care for these people through doctors, nurses, counsellors and therapists, half of which comes from the NHS, the other half from the community.
