Story

My dad, Charles, was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) in October 2019 after showing symptoms for about 1 year. Within 4 months my dad went from our cheeky, active and loving to a pre-comatosed state, not able to communicate or swallow in hospital and passed away in that hospital ben in March 2020. CJD is a cruel, fast progressing terminal brain disease of which the cause remains unknown.

Please donate if you can to support us to find a cure for Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). There is currently no cure but every day scientists and doctors are getting closer to finding a treatment.

I never thought something like this could happen to someone I love, but it just makes you appreciate every single day of life on this earth. Lets increase awareness and help scientists get a treatment for CJD.
