Our band was formed at Winchester 50 years ago, and most of us have been playing in one form or another ever since - but this time we're going to spend a day practising together.. Steve Roberts, one of our guitarists, died from a brain tumour six months ago and we want to remember him. I've also had laryngeal and then mouth cancer, but am still here. Several regulars at The Clarence Inn, Brecon, where our event is being held on September 23rd, have also had head and neck cancer. All of us would probably have had an easier time if the Sentinal Node Biopsy Technique, research for which HNCF supports, was in common usage. And one of our number is celebrating receiving his pension.
