West Highland Way - 96miles · 24 September 2018

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

After climbing the three highest mountains in Great Britain (Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis & Snowden) we decided to take up the challenge to walk the West Highland Way (96 miles in total). We will be walking continuosly over a period of 9 days varying in length from 8 miles to 15miles per day ( shorter days are when we are climbing over mountains)

We decided to use this event to raise money for our chosen charity the Alzheimers Society because alzheimers/dementia affects many people either directly or indirectly during their life time.
