Story


On The 6th March 3 Experienced Canoeist are going to be paddling The Bliss Trail, an 850 mile round trip around Britain for Children's Charities. 

Re establishing the Longest Canoe Trail in Britain.

Starting near Leighton Buzzard canoeing North skirting
Northampton, Up through Leicester, past Loughborough, through Nottingham
 with a stop at Holme Peir Point, across to Newark on Trent then North
again towards Scunthorpe then East past Castleford, through Leeds across
 to Skipton, down to Burnley and Blackburn, down to Wigan, then a
 zig-zag across to Manchester, back towards Runcorn, back agin toward
Northwich, south-east to Whitchurch and further south east over the
Welsh border through Welshpool, down to Abermule, doubling back following the River Severn through Shrewsbury, south through Worcester, south still through Gloucester, south east to Sharpness, down the Severn
Estuary to Avonmouth, into the Avon to Bristol, through Bath, then
heading West through Newbury, Reading, through Maidenhead, into London
through Twickenham, then North past Watford and Hemel Hempstead back to
Leighton Buzzard.

We are
looking for Support, mostly photos, donations and record the
journey. This will lead to opening up the route for prosperity as a
Touring route logable in a Log book co-operation with British Canoeing.
We are purposing to get kids canoeing the route later in co-operation
with Hou Canoes.

We fundraise to enhance Great Ormond Street Hospital’s ability to transform the health and wellbeing of children and young people. Donations help to fund advanced medical equipment, child and family support services, pioneering research and rebuilding and refurbishment.
