Story

Hi, Anup & Andy here.

We are (foolishly!) attempting to run the 2012 London Marathon in order to raise some funds for the British Heart Foundation.  BHF are working towards a world where people no longer die prematurely of heart disease.  So please dig deep and donate now.  Thanks for visiting!

ANDY

WHY AM I DOING THIS???

I'm not really sure - there are plenty of reasons why I SHOULDN'T be doing it!!  I'm the wrong side of 40, my knees are dodgy (to say the least!), I haven't had any sort of fitness for over 10 years, and the furthest I've ever run is 10km - more than 20 years ago!  Running the London marathon is not something I should be considering.

However, this is also the greatest challenge I have ever faced - and ever will.  This is a one-time only deal.  It is a chance for me to achieve something I never thought possible, and raise a bunch of money for a great charity at the same time.  The BHF fund research into the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart and circulatory disease.  I will be running in memory of my Dad, a great man who died of heart disease a few years ago.  I still miss him daily.

Please help by giving whatever you can - any donation at all will be gratefully received.

Don't make me go through this for nothing!

ANUP

Thanks for popping by.

Andy and I will be training over the rest of the year and raising money for BHF. We're hoping to raise £2000 - but we can't do it without your help.

Please donate and we'll keep in touch on our progress.

Remember - we're doing the easy bit but it can't be done without your support.
