I am raising funds to further support growing activities of the NGO “Kraplynka” based in Ukraine in its effort to provide both early educational opportunities and psychological support for the pre-school and school age children from the displaced families who currently live in Kyiv, Mykolayiv, Dymer, Vyshgorod, Borodianka and Mizhygirya. This year it opens up its heart to the children from poor families.

It takes about £1000 per month for the organisation to run, and there is a need for resources beyond October. Moreover, as the holiday season is approaching I would really like to spread the word about this great cause, and brighten up these little faces with an anticipation of the celebrations.

The activities of "Kraplynka" started in Mizhygirya where families of Internally Displaced Persons with children were located. Currently about 75 children are attending weekly educational lessons and are longing for more. Mothers are being actively engaged in the process and everyone is happy to communicate in bilingual Russian-Ukrainian environment. 

Over the last year Holiday season we raised over 7000 pounds which supported Kraplynka's activities over a year period. Given the expansion of activities, we are now raising the target and would greatly appreciate your support: every little donation will help us to reach our fundraising objective.
