Story

The Challenge: Over the course of 2 weeks, hardy Osborne Clarke staff will be walking from London to Bristol via Reading in 10  stages over consecutive days. Each stage will be a gruelling 15-20 miles and walkers will pass by each of the three UK offices over the course of the 2 weeks, so be sure to show your support and help spur them on. The first walkers will depart from Millennium Bridge on Friday 6 May and the final team will cross the finish line on the Clifton Suspension Bridge on Thursday 19 May.

The Motivation: Last year a team of Osborne Clarke staff set out on a cycle ride from London to Bristol. Around the midway point of the ride Gi Blackburn, a Senior PA based in Reading, was involved in a serious road collision and suffered major injuries. Thankfully Gi has made an excellent recovery and is now back with us at work. Throughout her recovery she has received continuous support from Headway, a nationwide charity that seeks to provide invaluable support to people who have suffered severe brain injuries. Our walk will therefore be raising money for Headway, helping them to help others just like Gi.

Any contributions, large or small, are greatly appreciated, so please dig deep and give whatever you can.

Thank you.
