Story
This year's office charity, for PRP Manchester, is Derian House Children's Hospice. A charity particularly close to my heart after the loss of my son Joshua Kelly in August 2017.
Derian House has an enviable reputation in setting exceptionally high standards in children's hospice care. With a catchment area covering the whole of Lancashire and the South Lakes it is currently supporting more than 300 families who have a child or young adult suffering from a life shortening condition, as well as providing bereavement support for a further 200 families.
Derian's ethos is to ensure that quality of life is enhanced for children and young people with life threatening conditions. Far from being a place of sorrow, Derian House is a place of love, laughter, respect and above all, a haven for those who step through its doors.
Derian operates almost entirely on charitable donations and each year has to raise in excess of £2m to continue to provide this invaluable service. Any small donation you are able to make to support this wonderful charity would be gratefully received.
