We support people living with Addison's to improve their quality of life

Story

The Addison's Disease Self Help Group was founded in 1984 and supports people living with adrenal failure and their families in the UK and Ireland. The ADSHG also works to promote better medical understanding of this rare condition which affects about 8,400 people in the UK.

After being diagnosed with Addison's Disease in 2012, I have become dependent on daily medication and continued support and monitoring by doctors and specialists. I heavily rely on the support and advice given by the Addison's Disease Self Help Group. This has encouraged me to run the Leeds 10K on the 9th July 2017 and I would like to do my bit to help and raise awareness! PLEASE donate anything you can. No matter how small, it could make the world of difference to someone living with Addison's Disease and could even save a life!

Thank you!

Paloma :)
