I am joining my dear friend, Sheelagh O'Neill, on this year's Big Ride for Africa to raise funds for Lessons for Life.  The Lessons for Life Foundation provides vulnerable African children, from pre-primary to university, with help to cover the cost of fees, uniforms, books, stationery and hygiene kits. As you can imagine, this can really make the difference between a child staying in school or dropping out. 

Over the two days, we will be cycling over 200km and climbing more than 3000m, from our base at Schloss Merode,  through the German and Belgium countryside.
