Story

Please read Dave and Jessica's story:

Our darling son Angus was born in a car in the fast lane of the A120 on the way to Colchester General Hospital. When first born he was not breathing. In spite of our best efforts to provide CPR as we waited for the ambulance Angus was without a pulse for at least 30 minutes. After a month in hospital he is now home and we are attempting to get back to something like normal.

However, although he is making terrific progress it is increasingly clear that Angus has Cerebral Palsy. More specifically he has been defined as having grade three Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE). This is the most severe grading for oxygen starvation.

In every area Angus requires more support than the otherwise brilliant NHS can supply. We hope to be able to give Angus the physiotherapy and equipment he requires to have the best possible future.

Angus is an incredible boy who has amazed us all so far. We want to give him every opportunity to continue to surprise us.
