In July 2018 we lost Pat, to Prostate Cancer. Pat was a proud husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and family man, who once cycled the Tour of Britain as a fully sponsored club rider.

From now until June 2019, our team of 6 will be training, holding events to bring happiness and awareness, and popping up at various places to raise money in Pat's memory, with the sole aim to help Prostate Cancer UK to support more men and their families facing all aspects of the disease.

Sara, David, James and Natalie (Pat's daughter, son-in-law, nephew and niece) are taking on the 150 mile ride from London to Amsterdam in June 2019. Fabienne (Pat's grand-daughter) will be taking part in track and pool sporting fundraisers with para-sport champions, and Rebecca  (Pat's niece) will be running the Mattoni Karlovy Vary Half-Marathon. A range of cycling and sporting experience will be present in the team, but we all have an absolute unified commitment to smashing the target, as Pat would have been proud to encourage.

As a side-story, David (who is an Arsenal fan and has done the ride for the last 3 years in his favourite Bergkamp shirt) will be sporting a VERY uncomfortable sponsor on his cycling jersey during the ride. On day one, he will ride in a specially produced Spurs shirt, which surely deserves a donation boost on its own!
