Story
Hi, my name is Paul Courtney I'm 47 years old and currently working as a taxi driver in Hinckley, Leicestershire. I've often set myself challenges over the years and for some time I've wanted to attempt The Pennine Way.
The Pennine Way is around 270 miles long starting in Edale, Derbyshire and extending north over some of the bleakest, isolated and exposed terrain in the country terminating at Kirk Yetholm in Scotland. In attempting such a feat and taking over three weeks off work I felt my quest was worthy of raising some money for charity at the same time.
That is where I met Harvey Greenwood via a search on facebook. Please take the time to read his story in this link: http://leukaemiacharity.wordpress.com/about/
Having read his story you will understand why I felt inspired to contact Harvey and offer my support and encouragement in helping him achieve this amazing feat considering the amazing journey he has already undertaken.
