Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May this year my family was given some awful news when my Mum was diagnosed with Cancer. She as expected, met the news as most mothers do, with a determination and positive attitude and I couldn't be more proud of her.

On a trip to the hospital with her I was truly inspired by the positive attitude of all the patients and staff in the hospital. I was worried about going as I thought everyone would be sad and depressed, I couldn't have been more wrong. It was a life changing moment for me, the receptionists, the nurses, the doctors were so amazing, it honesty changed my view on the world. Even more recently a friend of mind was also diagnosed with Cancer, I have never seen anyone handle the news in such a positive and amazing way. I decided on the day I went to the hospital with my mother that I would try and make any difference I could and applied for the London Marathon, it seems almost fate that the day I found out my friend was diagnosed was the day I received confirmation I would be entered. I have set myself a target, but I feel I will smash it with all of your help, thank you so much for anything you can give!

A wise man once told me 'Every day is a 10/10, no matter what I'm doing we're living aren't we, what a time to be alive'
