Helping people less privileged than ourselves is not just about helping them to survive but to thrive. Building a socially cohesive future in places with huge rupture will be difficult if people aren't given a chance to grow as normal human beings with happy childhoods and opportunities to express themselves.  Self-esteem and confidence building as well as education and learning through sports and games is something that's taken for granted in some places but is denied to others.  That's why the Right to Play charity speaks to me.  I realised that I can help this charity, kind of like (a more important) extension of my desire to share with the world what sport has brought me in my life.
