On the 7th April 2016 I am going to embark on a new challenge which will push me to my limits and also help me to raise money for a great charity. I have signed up to take part in the Marathon Des Sables, which Sky TV’s Discovery Channel bills as 'the toughest footrace on earth', to raise £8,000 for Scope. This amazing charity helps disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.

The challenge will see me cover 250km across the Sahara Desert over 5 days in the blistering 50c (122 farenheit) heat, carrying my food and everything I need to live for the duration, on my back.
