Story

Well if you have got this far you might as well get your credit card out!!

So why am I doing this?

Beaumond house is a fantastic community care hospice in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

I have had connections with Beaumond House in one form or other over the last 20 years. Sadly most of them have been visiting dear friends that have gone there for respite care or as in patients.

The list of services provided is endless from equipment loans to carer support. Around 250 people are supported each month and all this costs a staggering amount.

£1,000,000 is what it costs a year to run, of which £750,000 of this needs to be fundraised.

So I am sending this to all my family, friends and colleagues in the hope that you will be able to give a little, to see me get sand in my pants & sweat a lot!! And if you can't that's cool. At least you are now aware that Beaumond House exists, and that anyone can make a referral to Beaumond House. It doesn't need to be a doctor or any health care professional. The door is always open.

Thank you for taking the time to to visit my Just Giving page. I will be planing some fundraising events throughout the year leading up to the trek, so maybe you could help with them rather than giving money. All help and donations, however big or small will be greatly appreciated.

All The Best & Thank You

Paul Cotter.

PS: This was the only picture I could find with me on sand!!
