Lovely friends! You’ll be aware that we have been boring you all silly since the start of this year, with our running commentary on the highs and lows of our training for the Ocean’s City Half Marathon. We have 3 weeks left and what do we decide?! Yes that we will run for a local charity and see if we can raise a few ££ for the great service they provide. Now you’ll all be thinking, groan, not another request . . . and you’d be right . . . but you’ll then be thinking . . . what wonderful ladies - probably best known for lippy, nails and heels - and we should support them in their quest to get around the course and, at the same time, raise for a great cause.

Drum roll . . . from many local charities (all worthy), the lucky charity pulled out of a handbag (no hat available!) is . . . ok, so we eventually got it down to two and we were emotionally drained, so in the interests of harmony we’re raising for St Luke’s Hospice and Jeremiah’s Journey. Both are local and both are amazing. We would love if we could raise equal amounts, but the choice is up to you!
