Story
Two riders, cycling unsupported from John O'Groats to Land's End (1000 miles) this July. We want to see as much of the UK's countryside as possible and we think cycling is the best way to do it. We decided to try and raise some money for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, because we live in Portsmouth. We love cycling around the South Downs Way and the Isle of Wight. And of course, we enjoy seeing healthy and happy animals on our adventures. Please consider donating, if you can, every little bit matters.
''In the next ten years we must create a much wilder Hampshire and Isle of Wight. We want nature’s recovery to be at the forefront of tackling the climate crisis. We want broken ecosystems to be restored and missing wildlife to return. We want people to benefit from a healthy natural environment. The Trust manages over 50 nature reserves and works with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the counties. They also inspire local communities and young people to care for wildlife where they live.''
