GBP 5 will feed a child for one month in Tanzania. (I will be hauled up 170ft / 50m in the air, and zip 1300ft / 400m across the river Foyle at 35mph / 56 km/h).
GBP 10 will buy 1 Braille story book for a blind primary school student in The Gambia. (I will do the above and swim 1,300ft / 400m across the Foyle - the fastest flowing river in Europe for its size).
GBP 25 will buy and distribute 12 mosquito nets for young children in Tanzania & Ethiopia. (I will do the above and fast for 25 hours in advance).
GBP 50 will feed 10 malnourished young children in Ethiopia for 1 month. (I will do the above and swim a total of 2,600ft / 800m in the Foyle - one of the coldest rivers in NW Europe).
GBP 100 will allow Children in Crossfire continue their valuable work with some of the world's most vulnerable children in Tanzania, Ethiopia and The Gambia. (I will do the above and swim 4,000ft / 1220m from the Lough Foyle shore to the Moville Lighthouse and back again - pending authorisation).
Anyone who knows how (un)fit I am will know the effort required, so please dig deep, donate now, and pass this email onto one other person in your personal network.
Thank you and Best regards,
