In 2018 I came very close to losing my life I was violently attacked in a Bar In a knife attack. I was rushed to hospital as it was life or death. I was treated and placed in the Intensive Care Unit ( ICU). I lost near enough 10 pints of blood and required emergency surgery on my neck and hands which included blood transfusions. Since the attack I have made a remarkable recovery physically but I have encountered  some mental health issues and I am still currently receiving treatment for PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. I have made it my goal in 2019 to compete in 4 charity runs to show how far I have come and to raise awareness for everyone out there suffering. I have currently already entered the Edinburgh 5K and now the Glasgow 10k. I would like to share my story to inspire people that you can do anything when you really put your mind to it despite whatever is going on…

Running has helped with my mental health and I want to share my story to help anyone who can relate.
